This past Sefirah, EvergrowingE ducator hosted its first-ever Art & Writing Contest—and the response blew us away. The theme was growth, and 145 students from 26 schools (with 32 amazing teachers guiding them!) took the time to reflect, create, and share something meaningful about Sefirah and what growth means to them. From heartfelt writing to creative artwork, every entry showed thought, effort, and originality. Teachers shared how powerful it was to reflect with their students and how proud they were of what their students produced.
The judges had a hard time choosing winners, comments like “WOW! These kids are amazing!” and “This is so hard to choose because each one is so special!” came up again and again. One judge even asked to be notified next year so her whole school could join. We’re so grateful to On a Roll Crafts and Alef Decals, who each sponsored a prize, for helping us celebrate these students!
